Hello HDSF Scholars,

The Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund will officially close on Friday, November 20th. However we are very pleased that the DC College Access Program (DC CAP)  has been named to continue the granting of scholarships, through the Hoop Dreams Alumni Legacy Fund, and will administer the remaining balances of scholarships originally awarded by Hoop Dreams and to continue the "legacy" of Hoop Dreams by establishing funds within their organization that reflect what we, for the past thirteen years, have been able to do for so many. Your main contact at DC CAP is Tosha Lewis and DC CAP will be responsible in distributing your upcoming HDSF spring semester award. Her number is (202) 783-3853. Your scholarship may be used for tuition, room and board or books however based on the parameters set by DC CAP.
